Our weekend-long summit was a resounding success! We organized five events to celebrate our community, partners, volunteers, and students. The inaugural S.T.E.M Menstrual Hygiene classes at Union Terminal drew more than 60 students and parents. We also introduced our first "Brunch N Brushes" event, where kids of all ages had a fantastic time creating their cereal bowls from a selection of over 170 cereals and crafting their canvas art inspired by their dreams.
Thanks to your generous donations, we managed to raise over $2,000 for our GHP Scholarship fund and an additional $1,500 to support future events.
In addition, we hosted our 2nd Annual GHP Period Summit in partnership with CareSource and were elated to welcome nearly 200 students and teachers from Cincinnati Public School and Norwood Public Schools at Union Terminal. This incredible weekend was made possible through our collaboration with over 15 local vendors. We also hosted our 2nd Annual Community Panel, focusing on girls and women's health and the impact of nonprofit organizations.

I learned that it's important to have proper menstrual hygiene practices to maintain good health and prevent infections. It's essential to use clean and sanitary menstrual products, change them regularly, and maintain good personal hygiene during menstruation. It's also important to have access to safe and hygienic facilities for managing menstruation.
